More hygiene with contactless switches
Hygiene and infection control have become very important in recent months. People avoid contact with surfaces and pay more attention to hygiene in public buildings. For this reason, ICPDAS-EUROPE has developed the new sensor switch ACS-20W.
The ACS-20W sensor switch is ideal for use in medical facilities, retail shops, the food industry, industrial plants and offices and creates excellent hygienic environmental conditions. Switching operations can be triggered via palm induction, enabling, for example, contactless walking through buildings.
The inductive distance and the delay time are adjustable. Red and blue indicator lights show the status of the switch and provide visual feedback. Among other things, the ACS-20W records entering and leaving the room with a time stamp and thus detects the number of people present.
The switch is connected to the BMS (management level) via the widely used Modbus RTU protocol. This allows the switch to be activated or deactivated remotely and the records to be retrieved from the access control system.
