Fieldbus protocols are characterized by high stability and proven technology. Therefore, data transmission via fieldbus plays a major role in industrial processes. Under our brand ICPDAS, we offer fieldbus communication products such as fieldbus cards with up to eight CAN ports.
In addition, we provide a comprehensive range of serial interface cards. We offer a variety of PCI and PCI Express cards. Variants with two to eight isolated RS-232 or RS-422/RS485 interfaces are available.
Real-time data transmission with Ethernet
In automation technology, Ethernet has firmly established itself as a network for time-critical processes and presents efficient transmission of large amounts of data. Industrial Ethernet has become the preferred choice for industrial systems with high performance and real-time capability compared to conventional serial fieldbus communication.
ICPDAS provides a variety of unmanaged and managed Ethernet switches for the establishment of a high-performance Ethernet network in an industrial environment. The Ethernet switches are available with 2 to 24 ports, with fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet connections depending on requirements. Plug-and-play functionality and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for power supply of PoE devices ensure easy integration. Our ICPDAS fiber optic media converters ensure secure data transmission in the event of high electromagnetic interference or overcoming long distances.
Gateways, serial device servers and converters for industrial communication
ICPDAS gateways connect industrial networks, gateways are available for all important fieldbuses such as Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen. Gateway versions are also available for Ethernet connection via Profinet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. With our serial device servers you can quickly and easily integrate serial devices into an Ethernet network.
