ICPDAS enables simple control and monitoring of energy consumption in real time with its intelligent PMD series energy data loggers. The integrated LCD touch panel makes it possible to monitor all connected measuring devices and adjust their parameters directly on site. The user gets a quick overview of the performance data of his systems. The logged data can be used for further statistics and analyses.
All settings can be configured on the touch panel or via the web server with just a few clicks and without programming. For seamless integration into various energy monitoring systems, the PMD series supports protocols such as ModbusTCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT. A connection to common IoT platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or IBM Bluemix can be realised using the templates already included.
The PMD series devices also support the connection of up to 32 additional I/O modules, an IF-THEN-ELSE logic editor and alarm notifications via email/SMS/SNMP trap. The optionally available IoTstar software from ICPDAS consolidates all measured values for further analyses and offers the option of long-term data storage.
Energy monitoring with the PMC data loggers
The intelligent measurement and analysis of power consumption, the determination of individual requirements and alarms in the event of faults are important information for users to ensure efficient system operation. ICPDAS offers a simple solution for this, the energy data loggers of the PMC series - ready for immediate use, including the necessary software.
They can be integrated into a dedicated network without programming. Simple operation and configuration is realised via a web browser. In addition to the private cloud solution, the connection to the Microsoft Azure Cloud is another highlight. The energy data loggers are tested and certified by Microsoft Azure. They collect data in real time and make it available for statistical analyses. If the data transmission fails, the transmission is repeated until it is successful.
The integrated "IF-THEN-ELSE Rule Engine" offers a special feature for local control. Without additional software, up to 36 dependency rules can be defined between inputs and outputs as well as functions, such as sending an email if a limit value is exceeded.
